This oil painting depicts its own backside: the flip side of the canvas and the stretcher frame. It is an astounding illusion, makes you think; a cautionary tale of the untrustworthiness of sight. Where is the painting, really? Trompe-l'oeil, "deceive the eye" painting.
I was born in 1954 in Budapest, Hungary, where I still líve. I learned at 'Kepzo- es Iparmuveszeti Szakkozepiskola', Budapest, and I graduated specializing in graphic design. I work as a professional painter and graphic artist. Although I do not like to exhibit, I have had many exhibitions in my country and abroad. I am interested in everything that is related to painting: many different styles, techniques and I like to try them all. Three of my books about art are published now.
