Night townscape with natural and artificial lights. Manipulated photo.
I really like the technically imperfect shots, poorly exposed, blurry, noisy pictures. By deliberately controlling these amateur disabilities and by emphasizing and distorting them, we can achieve new, contemporary picturesque effects.
About Attila Meszlenyi
I was born in 1954 in Budapest, Hungary, where I still líve. I learned at 'Kepzo- es Iparmuveszeti Szakkozepiskola', Budapest, and I graduated specializing in graphic design. I work as a professional painter and graphic artist. Although I do not like to exhibit, I have had many exhibitions in my country and abroad. I am interested in everything that is related to painting: many different styles, techniques and I like to try them all. Three of my books about art are published now.
