On the one hand, this picture is a decorative calligraphy (my signature), but on the other hand it is a series of questions. What makes an image authentic? What is the significance of signature? What is the value of uniqueness? Is the artistic value of reproduction smaller than the original one? How to force uniqueness on a digital artwork? And so on.

This picture, together with my digital works, belongs to a genre that could be called 'file art', which means it is not a copy, there is no original: the prints are not reproductions, each one is equally original.

I was born in 1954 in Budapest, Hungary, where I still líve. I learned at 'Kepzo- es Iparmuveszeti Szakkozepiskola', Budapest, and I graduated specializing in graphic design. I work as a professional painter and graphic artist. Although I do not like to exhibit, I have had many exhibitions in my country and abroad. I am interested in everything that is related to painting: many different styles, techniques and I like to try them all. Three of my books about art are published now.
