I am very interested in how can I maximize the pictorial completeness by minimized shapes, colors, lines. I tried to realize this when I made my picture.
In this series, I mainly process my study drawings and paintings that I made when I was 14-18 years old, between 1968-72. This series is, in a sense, a synthesis of my oeuvre.
This picture, together with my similar works, belongs to a genre that could be called 'file art', which means it is not a copy, there is no original: the prints are not reproductions, each one is equally original.
I was born in 1954 in Budapest, Hungary, where I still líve. I learned at 'Kepzo- es Iparmuveszeti Szakkozepiskola', Budapest, and I graduated specializing in graphic design. I work as a professional painter and graphic artist. Although I do not like to exhibit, I have had many exhibitions in my country and abroad. I am interested in everything that is related to painting: many different styles, techniques and I like to try them all. Three of my books about art are published now.
