Houses in the evening. Minimal art; decorative abstract geometric composition.
Recently, artworks of Klee, Scully, Rothko, Mondrian, Malevich and others make me think, and I'm looking for common features in these pictures. I feel them up-to-date and relevant again and I am integrating them into my work in digital form.
This picture, together with my similar works, belongs to a genre that could rightly be called 'file art', which means it is not a copy, there is no original: the prints are not reproductions, each one is equally original.
I was born in 1954 in Budapest, Hungary, where I still líve. I learned at 'Kepzo- es Iparmuveszeti Szakkozepiskola', Budapest, and I graduated specializing in graphic design. I work as a professional painter and graphic artist. Although I do not like to exhibit, I have had many exhibitions in my country and abroad. I am interested in everything that is related to painting: many different styles, techniques and I like to try them all. Three of my books about art are published now.
